We've emailed all members who were invited to attend the recent staff engagement events led by the Children, Families and Justice review team. To ensure we've caught all who were invited to, or took part in these events, we're sharing some of the information again here.
Comments have already been received at the Branch Office from members regarding particular elements of the proposals and these will be taken forward by UNISON Angus very soon. Formal consultation on the outcome of the Children, Families and Justice review is expected to take place over the summer but in order that we can gather the views of members invited to the engagement events on the proposals, you’re invited to share your comments and observations with us from now on. You can do this by emailing us at office@unison-angus.org.uk and we hope to hear from you soon.
I can also let you know that following discussions with your Social Work Steward Jordan Burns earlier today, we hope to hold two member meetings over the summer where you can air hear your concerns. One meeting will be in Arbroath, the other in Forfar and will commence at 1715. Firm details will be shared with you once these are in place.
